Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

SCAD W. Swimmer Caroline Lepesant was selected as the SCAD "Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week" for January 13-19.

The SCAD Women’s Swim Team hosted a dual meet against NCAA Div. 1 member College of Charleston at the Chatham County Aquatic Center on January 18. Leading the way for the ladies was second year student, Caroline Lepesant. Lepesant won 2 of the 3 individual events in which she took part.

Her wins in the 500 Yd. Freestyle (5:09.28) and 400 Yd. Individual Medley (4:40.07) were the most for the Bees. She also finished fourth in the 200 Yd. Freestyle and contributed to a second place finish in the 4x50 Freestyle Relay. Her 24 total points led the ladies on the afternoon.

Her performance for the week also earned for her the Bluegrass Mountain Conference swimmer "Player of the Week" recognition.

Lepesant is a Fashion Design major at SCAD and carries a 3.16 GPA. This is Lepesant's first "Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week" honor.

Other worthy considerations were Joel Ax (M. Swimming), Patrick Cardillo (M. Swimming), and Becky Dionne (W. Swimming)
