Holy Innocents' Episcopal School Athletics

SCAD sophomore Track and Field runner Jessy Scarpone was selected as the SCAD “Student-Artist-Athlete Player of the Week” for February 17-23.

Scarpone took part in Savannah State Eye Opener and finished 1st among 16 runners in the 5K event. Her time of 17:33 was the best time for the 5K in SCAD history, bettering the previous record time by 7 seconds. Her time of 17:33 automatically qualified her for the NAIA Outdoor Track/Field Championships.

Congratulations to Jessy Scarpone for her Student-Artist-Athlete honor and her track and field accomplishments.

Other worthy considerations for the Student-Artist Athlete Player of the Week were Chrissy Glover (W. T/F), Jon Riley and Jonathan Moody (M. T/F), Sofia Molinaro (W. Golf), Charlotte Cutts (W. Lacrosse), and Justin McGinnis (M. Lacrosse).
