ATLANTA - The University of Saint Thomas (Minn.) recorded an 11-5 men's lacrosse victory over Savannah College of Art and Design Saturday (Feb. 28) afternoon in a match between nationally ranked teams played at Emory University.
The Tommies, who are ranked No. 3, improved to 3-0 while the No. 13 Bees fell to 1-6. SCAD returns to action Friday (March 6) with a 7 p.m. contest against Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla.
John Healy led the Bees with three goals and an assist while
Shelton Polka and
Stewart Yost each tallied a goal. Polka and
Derek Shurson each registered two assists for SCAD.
Kenan Degirmenci recorded 28 saves in goal for SCAD.
