HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The No. RV SCAD men's lacrosse team lost 21-9 to No. 1 Keiser University at home on Saturday night.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-8, 2-4 AAC, while the Seahawks improve to 7-0, 5-0 AAC.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Noah Moreland put SCAD on the board first with an unassisted goal at the 13:51 mark. Keiser answered a minute later to tie the game at 1-1.
Mason Hickman, off an assist from
Sebastian Manuel, gave the Bees their second lead of the game (2-1) with 9:44 remaining in the first quarter. Hickman added two more goals in the first quarter as the Seahawks totaled six to go into the second quarter up 6-4.
Unfortunately, SCAD was unable to get on the board in the second quarter as Keiser tallied three goals as the Bees went into halftime down 9-4.
Mason Hickman (

Noah Moreland (
Sebastian Manuel), and
Evan Baker scored SCAD's three goals in the third to Keiser's eight to go into the final quarter down 17-7.
Mason Hickman scored his fifth goal of the game just over 30 seconds into the fourth quarter off an assist from
Sebastian Manuel, while
Evan Baker scored the Bees' last goal of the game at the 7:17 mark as Keiser went on to win 21-9.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Mason Hickman totaled a game-high five goals, while
Sebastian Manuel had a game-high three assists.
Evan Baker and
Noah Moreland totaled two goals each.
Lucas Martinez totaled a game-high eight ground balls, while
Cameron Clark led the team in caused turnovers with two.
Goalies
Noah Miller and
Luke Lamendola both spent time in the cage, with Miller nabbing nine saves and Lamendola totaling one.
