ATLANTA - The University of Dayton defeated the Savannah College of Art and Design 10-6 in a men's lacrosse match Sunday (Feb. 15) afternoon on the Emory University campus.

Both teams are ranked in the latest MCLA the Lax Mag Division II poll. The Flyers are ranked No. 3 while the Bees, who suffered their second consecutive loss against a ranked team, are 13th and fell to 0-3. SCAD returns to action Friday (Feb. 21) with a noon match against No. 21 Davenport University in Athens, Tenn.
 
Shelton Polka led the SCAD offense with three goals while Derek Shurson tallied two. John Healy also found the back of the net for the Bees once. Goalie Kenan Degirmenci led the SCAD defense with 15 saves while Carlos Marquez tendered four.
