KANSAS CITY, Mo.- SCAD Women's Lacrosse nab both NAIA Player of the Week honors with
Ellen Benintendi on the offensive side and
Maddy Hahn on the defensive side.
NAIA Offensive Player of the Week
Ellen Benintendi | Sophomore | Midfielder | Cincinnati, Ohio
Benintendi was a showstopper for the Bees hitting the back netting 10 times and grabbing two assists for 12 points. She was a near perfect 3-for-4 on free position shots while also snaring three ground balls. Benintendi won five draw controls putting her at 93 on the season. She was clinical in the 12-5 win over No. 5 Keiser where she had seven points on five goals and two assists.
NAIA Defensive Player of the Week
Maddy Hahn | Freshman | Midfielder | Queenstown, Md.
Hahn was a workhorse for SCAD this past week. She captained a defensive unit that held No. 5 Keiser to less than 10 goals in a game for the first time since the 2024 season. On the week, she mustered six ground balls, four caused turnovers and four draw controls to help the Bees cruise to two wins on the week.
The Bees will cap off the regular season on the road at Life University on Saturday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m.
