SAVANNAH, Ga. – The SCAD men's bowling team hosted the NAIA Open I on Saturday and the NAIA Open II on Sunday. The Bees finished second in the NAIA Open I and won the NAIA Open II.
TOURNAMENT FORMATS: The NAIA Open I consisted of five individual games with total pinfall determining the winner. The top five individuals earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
The NAIA Open II consisted of 25 baker games with total pinfall determining the winner.
Winners from each event competed against one another to determine an overall winner.
NAIA OPEN I: The Bees finished in second place at the NAIA Open I with a total pinfall of 5035.
Kai Evans was SCAD's top finisher, placing sixth with a total pinfall of 1048 for an average of 209.6.
Webber International University won the event with a total pinfall of 5438.
NAIA OPEN II: SCAD won the NAIA Open II with a total pinfall of 5022. Milligan University finished in second with a total pinfall of 5005.
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will travel to Indianapolis, Ind. for the Tier 1 Hoosier Classic on February 14-15.
