SAVANNAH, GA. - SCAD is thrilled to announce the hiring of Anita Maryskova as the new Assistant Women's Soccer Coach!

Anita's multifaceted background in playing, coaching, and recruiting uniquely positions her as an exceptional addition to SCAD. She has a profound understanding of the game and a genuine passion for helping athletes reach their full potential. One of the qualities I admire most about Anita is her leadership philosophy, which aligns perfectly with the growth mindset that SCAD Women's Soccer embodies, fostering an environment where athletes can thrive and excel. I am excited about her joining our staff as we work towards our goals for the upcoming season."
Anita has a rich soccer background, including being a member of the Czech Women's Soccer National Team U-15 and U-19, and a standout player at AC Sparta Prague. As the youngest starter for the Women's team in Germany's 1.FFC Dresden at just 16 years old. Anita has consistently demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
In addition to her impressive playing career, Anita holds a UEFA "B" Soccer coaching license and has been coaching elite teams since 2010. She served as the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach at Youngstown State University, where she contributed to reaching the conference finals and significantly improving the team's performance, helping recruit top players in the Horizon League. Furthermore, her experience as a coach and scout for the Czech Regional National Team underscores her commitment to player development.
