SAVANNAH, Ga. – Bees Women's Soccer head coach Rebecca Gunn is pleased to announce the signing of Tuva Wikström for the fall of 2026.

Wikström is a strong midfielder hailing from Sweden, Borlänge. Wikström is coming to Savannah after attending Hagagymnasiet. She played club soccer for Kvarnsvedens IK where she was named the 2024 Rookie of the Year and in 2023 was selected to participate in a regional national camp. In 2025, Wikström's team won their division and earned a divisional promotion for 2026.

"Tuva has all the tools to be a successful midfielder here at SCAD," said coach Gunn. "She is technically sharp and tactically very strong, with a quality first touch, excellent positional awareness, and the vision to complete key passes. She has the ability to shoot confidently from distance and contribute defensively through intelligent reading of angles. We see her developing into a true playmaker for our squad."

At SCAD, Wikström will study Photography & Graphic Design. She is supported by her parents Helene Wikström and Marko Wikström alongside her older brothers, Alexander Zetterström and Linus Zetterström, her older sister Alva Wikström, and my twin brother Hugo Wikström.

When asked why she chose SCAD, she said, "I immediately felt a strong connection with the coaching staff and the program. I also fell in love with the city of Savannah the moment I first heard about it. The creative environment and the opportunity to combine high-level soccer with academics made it feel like the perfect place for me to grow both on and off the field."
