SCAD women's cross country runner Maggie Froning and men's soccer player Max Keller have been named Bees of the Week for the week ending September 15th.  

Maggie Froning (Oak Ridge, TN/ Accessory Design) placed 7th in the field of 111 with a new personal best of 18:10.88, helping the Bees place third in the field of 12 with 64 points at the Queen City Invite. The Bees placed above both NCAA DII and DIII Programs in the competition. 

Max Keller (Summerville, SC) played the second half of the Bees' match against No. RV Thomas University on Saturday, September 14th. He made 5 crucial saves to keep the score tied 1-1, with the game ultimately ending in a draw. 

Up next, the men's soccer team hosts New College of Florida on Wednesday and No. RV Southeastern University on Saturday while the women's cross country squad heads to Columbia, SC for the Akiah McMillan Invitational on September 28th.
