SAVANNAH, Ga. - No. 11 SCAD League of Legends took on No. 6 Georgia State University in a playoff match of the Collegiate League of Legends 2023 South Conference - Championship Division. They ended the series 1-3, with Georgia State moving on.

"Overall, I'm extremely proud of the progress we made both individually and as a team. This is the first time that SCAD has made the playoffs within cLoL, and I couldn't be more content. Obviously, we would have loved to go further, but we ended up meeting the goal we set."– Nicholas Daigle, Head Coach of Esports - SCAD.
SCAD LoL will look to compete in some amateur leagues and tournaments between now and Fall before the Collegiate season picks back up again. Artist-athlete Yanchong Zhang will be moving on to graduate from SCAD.

"During this last quarter, I spent the majority of my time practicing different champs and adapting to different patches. I am really happy that I was able to jump out of my comfort zone and trying out new strategies. I enjoyed the tournament as well; it actually encouraged me spending more time improving myself. Overall, I enjoyed the time we spent together and learned a lot being in the team. "- Yanchong Zhang, Esports Athlete - SCAD.
