Siddall’s Hat Trick Leads to 4-1 Win for No. 12 SCAD Women’s Soccer

Box Score MT. VERNON, Ga. – The No. 12 SCAD women's soccer team continues their winning streak after defeated Brewton-Parker College 4-1 on Thursday night.

  • The Bees end non-conference play with 8-1 record.
  • The Barons fall to 3-5.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • SCAD's defense held Brewton Parker College to only six shots and one goal.  
  • The Bees took a 1-0 early in the first quarter when Abigail Siddall (Plymouth, Mich. / Film and Television) found the back of the net on a ball from Alyssa Smith (Huntington Beach, Calif. / Advertising and Branding).
  • Siddall scored her second goal of the game only nine minutes later when Ines Sommer (Lisbon, Portugal / Film and Television) passed the ball through to Siddall.
  • Smith assisted in Siddall's third goal at the 58-minute mark.
  • The Bees scored a quick last-minute goal at the 85-minute mark which came from Emilee Roseland (Andover, Minn. / Interior Design and Architecture) with an assist from Gabrielle Slye (Charleston, S.C. / Interior Design).
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Siddall led the offense with three goals on six shots followed by Roseland who had one goal on two shots.
  • Smith had two assists and one shot and Sommer had one assist and two shots.
  • Slye had one assist for the night.
  • Berglind Baldursdottir (Kopavogur, Iceland / Architecture), Emily Miller (Apex, N.C. / Advertising and Branding), and Mia Nelson (Omaha, Neb. / Animation) all had three shots each.
  • Sam Wong (Fort Worth, Texas / Interior Design), Lane Liberman (Chevy Chase, Md. / Visual Communication), Jule Stendebach (Kelkheim, Hessen, Germany / Undeclared), Phoebe Peters (London, United Kingdom / Advertising and Branding), and Lexi Kaiafas (Wall, N.J. / Fashion) each had one shot.
  • Goalie Zoe Goodale (Coppell, Texas / Undeclared) made two saves in her 90-minutes in the net.
