Women’s Soccer Fall to No. 8 Keiser

Box Score QUICK SCORE: The SCAD Savannah women's soccer team fell 7-1 to No. 8 Keiser University on Saturday afternoon in West Palm Beach, Florida.

RECORDS: The Bees are now 7-4-1, 2-1-1 TSC overall while the Seahawks improve to 8-1-1, 4-0-0 TSC.

SCAD'S LONE GOAL: Hannah Amidon scored the only goal for the Bees at the 23:11 mark when she hit the back of the net from 30 yards out with a shot that sailed over the goalkeeper. This goal tied the game at one all and the score remained tied for the remainder of the first half.

Keiser's winning goal came within three minutes into the second half and then the Seahawks never let up as they scored five more throughout the rest of the half.

BOX SCORE: The Bees totaled nine shots – four on goal – to Keiser's 26 (15 on goal).


Meghan Grable led the bees in shots with three while Nikki Abel totaled two. Emily Cook, Macy Jarvis and Sofia Johnson, along with Amidon, tallied one shot each.
Goalie Natalia McElrath totaled eight saves in her 90 minutes of work.

WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees remain on the road for a 12 p.m. game at Johnson and Wales (Fla.) on October 7.
