Second Game In-a-Row Goes to Double Overtime for Women’s Soccer

Box Score QUICK HIT: The SCAD Savannah women's soccer team tied 0-0 with Brenau University Sunday afternoon after taking the game into double overtime.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 1-0-1 while Brenau opens its season 0-0-1.
 
BOX SCORE: SCAD out-shot the Tigers 25-5 while not allowing them an overtime shot throughout the 20 minutes.
 
SCAD totaled seven shots on goal and the Brenau goalie picked up six saves.
 
Mikaela Heyboer led the game in shots with six while Carmen Cambiaso totaled four. Emily Cook, Annie Sullivan and Stephanie Guerra added three each with Nikki Abel adding one. Four other artist-athletes contributed one shot a piece.
 
Goalies Lauren Kittle and Natalia McElrath totaled one save each.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? SCAD will travel to Faulkner University on Friday, August 25 for a 1 p.m. game.
