SCAD Women’s Soccer ready to apply winning streak to revamped schedule

10/20/2016 2:01:00 PM

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Savannah, Georgia – Hurricane Matthew pressed pause on the Lady Bees four-game winning streak, as a pair of SCAD women's soccer games were postponed due to inclement weather.

In the most recent on-field action, SCAD had defeated conference rivals Webber 2-1 at home on October 1st. Both goals came from senior Reese Stevens, with assists by freshman phenoms Hope Kemp-Hanson and Kendall Sweeney.

The subsequent fortnight off did not pass uneventfully however, as Coach Rebecca Gunn was happily inducted into the Cougar Hall of Fame at the University of Minnesota, Morris, where she starred as an undergraduate 2002-2004.

The team returns to the pitch against the University of South Carolina Beaufort Sand Sharks this Thursday, October 20 at 3 p.m. at UCSB's Fin Land Field.
