Box Score

The women's soccer team lost its 2013 season opener to the Golden Tigers of Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.  The final score was 3-1 as the Bees were unable to push across a goal until the 9 minute mark in the second half.  Nikki Wittak scored SCAD's lone goal for the Bees.

The Golden Tigers' Esther Anyanwu was the offensive star of the match as she scored all three of Brenau's goals.  Brenau's offense proved to be efficient as they had 5 shots on goal and 3 found the mark.

The Bees return to action on 8/25 when they travel to Lawrenceville, Georgia to take on Georgia Gwinnett College in an afternoon game beginning at 1 pm.  SCAD returns home on 8/30 to play its first home game where they take on the Hastings College Broncos from Hastings, Nebraska.
