A goal by Meadhbh Deeney with less than two minutes in the first period was all the Bees needed to hand the 4^th ranked University of Mobile Rams (4-1) its first loss of the 2012 season.   Each team had only three shots on goal the whole game, but SCAD goalkeepers Sara Hall and Ciara Thomas had one more save to secure the victory for the Bees. 
 
The Rams more than doubled the 7 shots that the Bees took in the game, but good defense and a key one-on-one save by Thomas at the 19 minute mark of the first period was able to preserve the shutout victory.
 
The win moves SCAD to 2-3 with the next match coming on Saturday when they face Spring Hill College in the last match of the University of Mobile's tournament.
