The SCAD Savannah women's soccer team scored twice in the final five minutes of the first half to rally for a 2-1 decision over Warner University Thursday (Nov. 4) evening at the SCAD Athletics Complex in the first round of the 2010 The Sun Conference Tournament.

The Bees, who are the tournament's No. 3 seed, improved to 11-4-3 and will advance to an 8 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 6) semifinal match against No. 2 seed Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University in Daytona Beach, Fla. The sixth-seeded Royals ended their season at 6-8-0.

Warner took a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute as Katie Mortenson scored her first goal of the season off a corner kick from Allison Felix. The Bees tied the match at 1 at the 40:11 mark as Nikki Capizzo scored off a Lauren O'Malley corner for her second score of 2010.
