HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - Seven different players registered goals as the Savannah College of Art and Design recorded a 9-0 The Sun Conference women's soccer victory over Johnson & Wales (Fla.) 9-0 on a cool Sunday (Oct. 18) afternoon at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
The Bees, who outshot JWU 33-2 (22-1 on goal), improved to 6-6-0 overall and to 4-2-0 inside the league. The Wildcats remained winless in eight matches. SCAD returns to action Thursday (Oct. 23) with a 4 p.m. conference match against Ave Maria University in Ave Maria, Fla.
SCAD scored eight times in the opening 45 minutes of play, including four over a five-minute stretch that broke the match open.
Melissa Feuerriegel led the offense for the Bees with two goals and three assists.
Logann Rogers scored twice while
