The SCAD Bees dropped a pair of close meets to Florida Southern (W, 106-99/M, 112-91) and the University of Tampa (W, 153-98/M, 151-111) this past weekend. 
 
The Lady Bees started out the weekend with a win against Florida Southern in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:50.44 consisting of team members: Fanny Varga, Catherine Duquet, Kelsey Bobzien, and Gianna Grace.  The Men finished the meet with a winning 200 Freestyle Relay in a time of 1:28.16 comprising of the following team members: Braden Bouchard, Ryan Sloat, Alex Graudins, and Chris Wilson.
 
Four SCAD swimmers led the way with multiple wins over the weekend:

Alex Graudins:   200 FR (1:41.65), 500 FR (4:40.14), 1000 FR (9:42.19), and 1650 FR (16:06.65)
Cat Duquet:          50 FR (25.15), 100 BR (1:06.03), 200 BR (2:25.55) and 400 IM (4:40. 71)
Ryan Searles:   500 FR (4:43.81), 100 BK (52.43), 200 BK (1:53.22)
Sam Crawford:    50 FR (22.10), 100 BR (1:00.42), 100 Free (48.41)
 
In addition to those above, a number of SCAD swimmers recorded single event wins.  These were Fanny Varga (200 FR), Kelsey Bobzein (100 FL), Heather Librizzi (500 FR), Savanah Watss (500 FR), Bartos Scharmach (200 BR), and Steven Edgar (100 FL).

The Bees return to action this Saturday against Duke and NC State at 11:00 AM, in Raleigh, NC.  Come support the Bees at their next home event. The SCAD Invitational on December 1-3 will take place at the Chatham County Aquatic Center.
