No. 3 Men’s Swimming in Third After Day One of NAIA National Championships

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The No. 3 SCAD men's swimming team is in third place at the end of day one at the 2023 NAIA National Championships.
 
TEAM SCORE: The men's team totaled 62 points at the end of the day on Wednesday. No. 1 Keiser University is leading with a total of 74 point followed by No. 2 St. Thomas University with 72 points.
 
MEN'S RESULTS: The 200-yard medley relay team, consisting of Finlay Saunders (Bath, England / Performing Arts), Kenny Chism (Jacksonville, Fla. / Illustration), Brandon Vives (Miami, Fla. / Advertising and Branding), and Samuel Page (Lancaster, S.C. / Architecture), finished in fifth with a time of 1:31.25.
 
Placing second with a time of 6:36.72 was the 800-yard freestyle relay team of Joel Thatcher (Mason, Ohio / Creative Business Leadership), Kristof Monori (Budapest, Hungary / Visual Effects), Vives, and Saunders.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will continue Thursday, March 2nd for the second day of the 2023 NAIA National Championships in Columbus, Ga.
