SAVANNAH, Ga. – After bringing home the NAIA Women's National Championship title, three SCAD women's golfers have earned NAIA/WGCA Honors, while Head Coach
Chris Kamys has been named the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) and NAIA Coach of the Year.
Yunyi Luo | So. | Shenzhen, GuangDong, China
For the second consecutive year, Luo has been named a First-Team NAIA All-American and this year added a WGCA All-American First-Team honor as well.
Throughout 28 total rounds of play, she maintained a stellar 71.6 scoring average while compiling an extraordinary head-to-head record of 654-18-2. Her relentless consistency was on full display all season as she captured four tournament victories and secured a top three finish in eight different events, proving exactly why she earned her spot nationally ranked No. 2 in the country.
Sharon Shan | Jr. | Shenzhen, GuangDong, China
For the second year in a row, Shan has been named a First-Team NAIA All-American, along with being named a WGCA First-Team All-American. The junior has earned NAIA All-American status all three years of her collegiate career.
Shan finished the year nationally ranked No. 5. Showcasing incredible consistency across 28 total rounds, she maintained a sharp 73.2 scoring average and anchored her leaderboard presence with a stellar head-to-head record of 624-46-4. Her standout campaign was highlighted by one tournament victory and two top-three finishes, capping off a phenomenal year.
Jessica Wang | Fr. | Shanghai, China
Wang has been named an NAIA Second-Team All-American as well as a WGCA All-America Honorable Mention. The Freshman was also named to the WGCA NAIA All-Freshman Team Presented by the AJCA.
Wang finished the year nationally ranked No. 24 after posting a strong 75.0 scoring average across 19 total rounds. Her competitive edge on the course translated to a stellar head-to-head record of 365-64-10, capping off a phenomenal freshman campaign that sets a bright foundation for her collegiate career.

SCAD Savannah captured the 2026 NAIA Women's National Championship by one stroke, capping off an outstanding season. The Bees also earned victories at the Currahee Club Invitational, Lady Roadrunner Spring Invite, and Sun Conference Championship, while finishing inside the top five in every event they competed in throughout the year. The team had an adjusted scoring average of 294.9.
Coach Kamys has led SCAD Savannah for four years, guiding the Bees to consistent national success and maintaining a top-five national ranking throughout his tenure as head coach.
