LAKE WORTH, Fla. – No. 5 SCAD women's golf team increased its lead in the final round of the Sun Conference Championship to win the Sun Conference Title by five strokes over No. 1 Keiser University.

TEAM RESULTS: The No. 5 Bees won the event with a three-round score of 897 (290, 299, 308).
No. 1 Keiser University finished in second with a score of 902 (291, 303, 308), while No. 12 Southeastern finished in third with a score of 932 (298, 301, 333).
DID YOU KNOW? This is the fifth Sun Conference Championship Title for the Bees, the first since 2018.
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Yunyi Luo won the Individual Title after shooting a three-round score of 214 (73, 68, 73).
Jessica Wang finished in fourth with a score of 225 (69, 79, 77), while
Sharon Shan finished in fifth with a score of 226 (71, 77, 78).
Madi Saxton tied for 10
th with a score of 233 (777, 76, 80), while
Paula Barrio took 17
th with a score of 239 (79, 78, 82).
DID YOU KNOW? Luo's win marks the sixth time in program history in which a SCAD player has won the Sun Conference Individual Title. The most recent win was Paulina Camacho in 2018.
SUN MAJOR AWARDS: At the conclusion of the Sun Conference Championships, the conference announced its major award winners and SCAD boasted two honorees.
Yunyi Luo was named the Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Year and Head Coach
Chris Kamys was named the Sun Conference Women's Golf Coach of the Year.
SUN ALL-CONFERENCE: The conference also announced the All-Conference Teams at the end of the tournament.
Yunyi Luo and
Sharon Shan were named to the First Team, while
Jessica Wang earned a spot on the Second Team.
WHAT'S NEXT? With this win, the Bees have automatically qualified for the 31
st Annual NAIA National Championship on May 19-May 22 in Ypsilanti, Mich. at the Eagle Crest Golf Club.
