No. 3 Women’s Golf Tied for Fifth After Round One of NAIA Championship

YPSILANTI, Mich. – The No. 3 SCAD women's golf team is currently tied for fifth after round one of the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

Course: Eagle Crest GC
Rounds: 3 – Shortened due to inclement weather, cut to field of 15 after second round.
Par: 72
Yardage: 5895
Individuals: 155
Teams: 30

TEAM RESULTS: The Bees are currently tied for fifth with a round-one score of 310 (+22). No. 1 Dalton State is sitting in first with a round-one score of 301 (+13).

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Yunyi Luo is tied for seventh with a score of 75 (+3).

Jessica Wang is tied for 22^nd with a score of 76 (+4), while Sharon Shan is tied for 46^th with a score of 78 (+6).

Madi Saxton and Paula Barrio are tied for 82^nd (81, +9) and 95^th (82, +10), respectively.

WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will compete in round two of the NAIA National Championship on Thursday, May 21.
