No. 6 Women’s Golf Runner-Up at Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational, Luo Wins Individual Title

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The No. 6 SCAD women's golf team finished as the runner-up at the 2026 Coastal Georgia Women's Winter Invitational, Yunyi Luo won the Individual Title.
 
TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

  • Rounds: 2
  • Par: 72
  • Yardage: 5963
  • Individuals: 87
  • Teams: 15
TEAM RESULTS: The No. 6 Bees shot a two-round score of 600 (302, 298) to finish in second, only eight strokes behind No. 1 Keiser University, who shot a 593 (298, 294).
 
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Yunyi Luo tied for first after regulations with a score of 146 (74, 72) forcing a playoff. Luo and Embry-Riddle (Ariz.)'s Bellamaria Mantini replayed the 18th hole with Luo shooting par to win as Mantini bogeyed.

Sharon Shan finished in eighth with a score of 150 (75, 75), while Madi Saxton, Nuri Seo, and Jessica Wang tied for 17th after shooting a 153 with their respective round scores of (78, 75), (77, 76), and (76, 77).
 
Paula Barrio, playing as an individual, finished tied for 11th with a score of 152 (76, 76).
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will compete at the Kinderlou Forest Spring Invitational on February 16-17.
