KANSAS CITY, Mo. – SCAD's McKinsey Brown was ready to go in the season opener. The junior attacker/midfielder posted a perfect shot on goal percentage to earn NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week honors.
 
Brown opened the season with a highlight performance right away against No. 6 Reinhardt at home, and she didn't miss. In a two-goal victory, she scored half of the Bees' total 16 goals.
 
Brown brought pinpoint accuracy to the first game of the 2026 season, taking a dozen shots, all on frame, and proving to have a major impact on the Bees' offensive schemes.
 
The Bees are back in action on Friday, Feb. 13, against Shorter in Rome, Ga. Opening draw is set for 5 p.m.
