TAMPA, Fla. – SCAD's men's golfer Connor Scott and men's soccer player Noa Sonntag have earned Sun Conference Player of the Week honors for the week ending September 7.
 
Men's Golfer of the Week
Connor Scott | Senior | London, England
 
Scott led the field, shooting a one-over 73 to lead the Bees to the first win of the season against NCAA DII Savannah State. SCAD as a team shot a 306 to Savannah State's 317 to earn the win.
 
The Bees will compete at the Seahawk Shootout on September 15-16.
 
Men's Soccer Defender of the Week
Noa Sonntag | Freshman | Freiburg, Germany | Goalkeeper
 
Sonntag picked up his first collegiate shutout and win on Saturday, boasting a clean sheet against Brewton-Parker at home. The freshman totaled four saves in his 90 minutes of work to earn the win.
 
SCAD returns to action on Tuesday, September 9, at Life University. Kick off is at 7:00 p.m.
