TAMPA, Fla. – SCAD men's and women's cross country runners, Max Heins and Talia Sullivan, swept the Sun Conference weekly awards as both were named Runners of the Week for the week ending August 31.

Heins was SCAD's top runner, finishing ninth at the NCAA DI Charleston Southern Buccaneer Open. As a team, the Bees finished in third behind NCAA DI institutions Charleston Southern and The Citadel.
 
Talia Sullivan | Graduate | Lustleigh, Devon, England
 
Sullivan was SCAD's top runner, finishing third in the field of 38. The Bees placed second overall, defeating NCAA DI The Citadel and S.C. State.
 
SCAD will remain on the road for the Queen City Invite in Charlotte, N.C., on September 12.
