SMYRNA, Tenn. – The SCAD women's bowling team traveled to Smyrna, Tenn., for the MSC Greater Nashville Open and the MSC Brandon Burns Memorial on Saturday and Sunday.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Both tournaments were one-day events consisting of four individual games, followed by eight baker games, with total pinfall determining the winners.
SATURDAY RESULTS: The Bees had a total pinfall of 5314 to finish in third on Saturday. The University of Pikeville won the event with a total pinfall of 5627.
SCAD had a total pinfall of 3753 at the end of the individual games. After eight baker games, the Bees had a total pinfall of 1561, combining for 5314.
Elizabeth Weeks was SCAD's top individual, bowling a total pinfall of 832 after four individual games for an average of 208.
SUNDAY RESULTS: On Sunday, SCAD finished first with a total pinfall of 5475. Milligan University finished in second with a total pinfall of 5383.
After four individual games, the Bees had a total pinfall of 3971, which they followed with an eight-game baker score of 1504 for a total pinfall of 5475.
Elizabeth Weeks was SCAD's top individual, bowling a total pinfall of 854 after four individual games for an average of 213.5.
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will remain on the road for the Tier 1 Bowlero Southern on November 1-2.
