No. 5 Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at the NCAA DII Battle at Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The No. 5 SCAD women's golf team competed at the NCAA DII Battle at Hilton Head hosted by Lincoln Memorial University on Monday and Tuesday and finished fourth overall.
 
TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
  • Course: Robert Trent Jones Course – Palmetto Dunes Resort
  • Par: 72
  • Yardage: 5930
  • Teams: 18
  • Individuals: 96
TEAM RESULTS: The Bees placed fourth in the two-round tournament with a total score of 620 (316, 304). Oklahoma Christian won the event with a score of 604 (311, 293).
 
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS: Ariana Castro was SCAD's top finisher, placing fourth with a two-round score of 148 (76, 72).
 
Lauren Kaltenmark finished in 18th with a score of 155 (77, 78), while Paula Barrio finished in 30th with a score of 158 (80, 78).
 
Isabela Cuisana and Sharon Shan finished in 35th and 44th with their respective scores of 160 (84, 76) and 163 (83, 80). Zayla White shot a 163 (81, 82), playing as an individual.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will travel to Okatie, S.C. for the USCB Monument Golf Oldfield Intercollegiate on February 26-27.
