COLUMBIA, S.C. - Members of the SCAD women's indoor track & field team competed at the USC Indoor Open on Friday.
RELAY: The women's distance medley team of
Montserrat De Santiago,
Natalie Randall,
Maggie Froning, and
Talia Sullivan won with a time of 12:52.59.
INDIVIDUAL FINISHES: Maggie Froning (Oak Ridge, Tenn. / Accessory Design) placed second in the 1000-meter with a time of 3:03.81 while
Julia Gralki (Wangen im Allgau, Germany / Writing) ran the 3000-meter in a time of 10:30.25 placing sixth.
In the one mile run,
Talia Sullivan (Lustleigh, Devon, England / Painting) placed eighth with a time of 5:21.62 and
Montserrat De Santiago (La Grange, Texas / Interior Design) placed sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.86.
Natalie Randall (North Berwick, Maine / Interior Design) placed 16
th in the women's triple jump with 10.33 meters.
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will conclude their season traveling to Brookings, S.D. to compete at the NAIA National Championships on Thursday, March 2 – Saturday, March 4.
