BROOKINGS, S.D. – Members of the inaugural SCAD women's indoor track & field team competed in the 2022 NAIA Indoor National Championships March 3-4.

5000M – Talia Sullivan (Lustleigh, Devon, England / Painting) ran a personal best in the 5000m prelims and finished in 16^th with a time of 17:57.99.
 
1 MILE – In the mile, Sarah Jane Foreman (St. Mary's Ga. / Graphic Design) finished prelims with a time of 5:08.90 for 13^th place.
 
DISTANCE MEDLEY RELAY: Foreman, Maggie Froning (Oak Ridge, Tenn. / Accessory Design), Montserrat De Santiago (La Grange, Texas / Interior Design) and Sullivan combined for a time of 12:24.97 which placed them in 14^th after the prelims.

COACH KNAPP: "SJ, Talia, Montse and Maggie have had a great indoor season" states Head Coach Andy Knapp. "They left their hearts on the track in Brookings this week and have set an incredibly high standard for our program in its first ever indoor season."
