ADDISON, Ill. – The SCAD women's bowling team traveled to Addison, Ill. for the Tier 1 Kegel/ISBPA Midwest Classic on Saturday and Sunday and finished in fifth.
 
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: The two-day tournament consisted of the traditional Tier 1 format, with five team games on Saturday and 20 Baker games on Sunday.
 
INDIVIDUAL SCORES: Lara Kurt (Leland, N.C. / User Experience (UX) Design) was SCAD's top finisher with a total pinfall of 1038 over five games for 11^th. Pamela Perez (Carolina, Puerto Rico / Film and Television) finished in 12^th with a total pinfall of 1037.
 
Raina Davis (Oklahoma City, Okla. / Interior Design), with a total pinfall of 1028, finished 16^th overall.
 
TEAM SCORE: At the end of the team games, the Bees were in second place with a total pinfall of 4949, while the University of Pikeville was in first with a total pinfall of 5014.
 
After bowling a total pinfall of 3676 at the end of the 20 Baker games, SCAD finished in fifth in the 62-team field with a total pinfall of 8625.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will travel to Louisville, Ky. For the MSC Lynne Jordan Memorial on Saturday, January 21.
