KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the NAIA Women's Golf All-Americans for the 2021-22 season, as selected by the NAIA Women's Golf Coaches Association All-America Committee, and SCAD has named three athletes to the teams.
Ariana Castro (Lima, Peru / Fashion Marketing and Management) earned First-Team All-American honors,
Alessia Cristina Avanzo (Trieste, Italy / Fashion Marketing and Management) was named a Second-Team All-American while
Marie Oulie (Stavanger, Norway / Fashion Marketing and Management) was named to the Third Team.
This season, the Bees won three events and finished third at the Sun Conference Championship, earning them an at-large bid to the 2022 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.
SCAD Savannah finished third out of 30 teams at the National Championships, besting SUN opponents then No. 2 Keiser University and No. 6 Southeastern. Avanzo and Castro earned All-Tournament Team honors with their fifth and 11
th place finishes. Oulie finished tied for 33
rd.
