TAMPA, Fla. – SCAD's Sharon Shan has been named the Sun Conference (SUN) Women's Golfer of the Week for the week ending March 8.

Shan led the Bees to a tournament win at the Currahee Club Invitational. The Junior shot a 223 over the three rounds to finish in second overall, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team. SCAD's third-round score was the lowest of the tournament and the only score to be under 300 for the entire event. With the win, SCAD upset No. 3 Dalton State University.
 
The Bees will travel to Okatie, S.C. on March 16-17 for the Oldfield Intercollegiate.
