KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The SCAD men's lacrosse team moves up one spot to take No. 9 in the most recent 2020 NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Top 10 Poll.
The Bees earned 34 points to move into No. 9. The Bees are currently 2-0 to open the season. Reinhardt remains No. 1 with 66 points.
Top 10 Highlights
- Reinhardt (Ga.) holds the most No. 1 rankings in men's lacrosse with 13.
- Reinhardt is the defending national invitational champion
- There is one new team to the poll: No. 10 Siena Heights (Mich.)
- Five teams remained at the same rank as the preseason poll
- Keiser (Fla.) moved up into the Top 5 after wins over then-RV Tennessee Wesleyan and then No. 5 Benedictine (Kan.)
- Reinhardt (Ga.) holds the longest active consecutive streak in the poll with 34. Keiser (Fla.) follows with 23.
Poll Methodology
- The rating committee is comprised of eight raters – two raters per conference/group.
- Each conference/group produces a conference rating from which raters will use to compile their national ballot. Only teams represented on the conference rating are eligible for the national ballot.
- Each rater will submit a top 15 ballot, which will be used to produce the Top 10 national rating and a list of other teams receiving votes.
