Men’s Soccer Falls 2-0 to Johnson and Wales

Box Score QUICK STORY: The SCAD Savannah men's soccer team fell 2-0 to The Sun Conference (TSC) opponent Johnson and Wales University (Fla.) Saturday afternoon.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-6, 2-2 TSC this season while the Wildcats are 8-2, 4-1 TSC.
 
WHAT HAPPENED? Both teams remained scoreless at the completion of the first half with both teams taking five shots.
 
Two unanswered goals 12 minutes (61st and 73rd minutes) apart from the Wild cats gave them the 2-0 win.
 
LAST CHANCE: Johan Renli took SCAD's last chance to score when he took a header that went high at the 88:06 mark.
 
BOX SCORE: Cian Lynch led the Bees in shots with four while Alejandro Rodriguez, Tom Barry, Alfie Raw and Arthur Bello Veiga totaled two each. Three other players took one shot each to round out SCAD's 15 shots.
 
Goalie Joe Parker nabbed four saves in his 90 minutes of work.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? SCAD travels to Thomas University for a TSC match-up on Wednesday, October 11.
