MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The SCAD men's soccer team lost 3-0 to No. RV St. Thomas University on Saturday in a Sun Conference semifinal match-up.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 7-7-4, while the Bobcats are now 11-5-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD started the action, taking the first shot of the game, but it was saved in the fourth minute. Both teams would trade shots until the 12:41 mark when St. Thomas got on the board, taking a 1-0 lead.
Unfortunately, five minutes later, the Bobcats doubled the score, making it a 2-0 game at 17:53.
SCAD managed one more shot in the first half, but it went wide, leaving the score at 2-0 in favor of St. Thomas heading into halftime.
The Bees took six shots in the second half, but none were successful as the Bobcats scored an unanswered goal in the 49
th minute to go up 3-0, a score that remained until the end.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Mario Goic totaled four shots, two on goal, while
Moritz Prattes totaled two shots.
