Second-Ranked Women’s Golf Defeats Eighth-Ranked USCB

Savannah, Georgia – Sofia Molinaro shot even par to lead all golfers and help the second-ranked SCAD women's golf team defeat eighth-ranked USCB 306-317 Friday afternoon at Savannah Harbor.

Molinaro's 72 was her lowest round this season and helped her capture her first individual win of the season by three strokes.

Mariona Maeso carded a 75 to finish tied for second place with Franzi Knoetsch of USCB. It was the second time this season that Maeso recorded a round of 75 or lower. Paulina Camacho earned her second top-five finish of the season after shooting a 78.

Corinne Grans-Wood and Emily Singletary rounded out the Bees lineup carding 81 and 89, respectfully.

Playing as individuals, Allie Agrella carded an 80, Grace Rokela shot an 82, and Inika Shetty shot a 94.

The Bees will return to the course Sunday, February 28, when they travel to Kiawah Island, South Carolina to compete in the Kiawah Island Women's Intercollegiate.
