Savannah, Georgia – The men's soccer team is set to host conference rival Warner in their Sun Conference home opener tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the SCAD Athletic Complex.
The Bees enter the game with a 4-5-1 record after dropping their two games last weekend. The Bees fell to St. Thomas and Florida Memorial by the score of 2-1. Leading the way for the Bees are Jordan Trinci-Lyne, Naim El-Harriti, and Fernando Zeledon. Trinci-Lyne leads the Bees with eight goals and 18 points, while El-Harriti has tallied five points. Zeledon has made 42 saves and recorded three shutouts.
Warner enters tomorrow's game with a 0-5-1 record including 0-2 in conference play after falling to Keiser and Johnson & Wales last weekend. The Royals are led by Eddy De Abreu, Gianluca Cuomo, and David Bartalos. De Abreu leads the Royals with three points, while Cuomo has netted a goal. Bartalos has made 32 saves so far this season.
The Bees won last year's meeting 1-0. In the 65th minute Seth Fite brought the ball up the right side of the field and crossed it to Trinci-Lyne for the only goal of the match.
