Box Score

Mount Vernon, Georgia – Will Oswin scored a pair of goals as the 21st-ranked SCAD men's soccer team defeated Brewton-Parker 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Baron's Soccer Field. With the win the Bees improve to 4-3-1, while the Barons fall to 3-4.

Midway through the first half Liam Traynor was taken down in the box, which set up a SCAD penalty kick. Jordan Trinci-Lyne converted the kick for a goal to give the Bees a 1-0 lead. Minutes later, Oswin put a free kick past the keeper for a goal to extend SCAD's lead to 2-0 at the break.

It was a similar story in the second half as the Bees continued to attack. Midway through the half, Oswin made a good move to dribble around the keeper and net his second goal of the game. Brewton-Parker had a couple of opportunities to score, but the Bees back line held strong for the 3-0 final.

This is Oswin's second multi-goal game of his career, the other came on October 11, 2013 when he scored two goals in a 2-1 win over St. Thomas.

Fernando Zeledon picked up his third shutout of the season.

The Bees return to action Friday when they travel to Miami, Florida to face St. Thomas in their Sun Conference opener at 4 p.m.
