As Yogi Berra said, "It seemed like déjà-vu all over again" when the horn sounded ending regulation in a 2-2 tie. Overtime started much the way the second period ended, one team going down the pitch with a determination to bring the game to an end. But for nearly 8 minutes into the overtime no one could strike the winning blow…until…
The Grizzlies finally were able to hit a soft goal to give the Bees their first loss of the season. It was a hard fought loss, but a loss just the same. SCAD just could not penetrate the Grizzlies defense to come up with that decisive goal. The loss brings their record to 2-1 on the season.
