SCAD Has Four Teams in National Championships

SCAD has four teams in National Championships in the coming two weeks.  Congratulations to the Bees for their successful seasons and post-season championship invitations.  The locations of where to find livestream action or Results are posted after the sport.
 
Men's Lacrosse:  Coach Mike Cumming's team received an “at-large” bid to the MCLA National Championships to be held in Greenville, S.C. beginning Monday, May 13, at 1:00 p.m. (EDT)  The men finished the 2013 season undefeated in their conference.

W. Tennis:  Coach Reinaldo Valor's women's team finished the season ranked 4th in the NAIA.  They went undefeated in The Sun Conference, winning the conference title and the conference tournament.  The Lady Bees will be travelling to Mobile, Alabama, on May 14 to take part in the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship. The Lady Bees have a bye in the first round.  They will play the winner of the Nebraska Wesleyan and Concordia match on May 15 at 1:00 p.m. (All times local).

W. Golf:  Coach Amanda Workman's women's team finished the season ranked #1 in the NAIA.  They won The Sun Conference Tournament Championship.  The golf team travels to Lincoln, Nebraska to take part in the NAIA National Championship on May 21.  Action begins at 7:30 a.m. (CDT)

M/W Track and Field:  Coach Patrick Reagan's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams will be represented by four athletes who qualified in their individual events for nationals.  For the women, Megan O'Boyle will be competing in the Marathon, while Hannah Lieberman will be competing in the 10,000 meter run.  For the men, Jonathan Golden will be competing in the Marathon, while Jonathan Moody will be competing in the Javelin.  These representatives will be travelling to the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships to be held beginning May 24 in Marion, Indiana.
