A defensive battle occurred between the Warner University Warriors and our own SCAD Bees.  Five shots were taken by both teams in the first half of play with no one able to penetrate the net.  It was not until halfway through the final period that the Bees were able to capitalize on a free kick by Theo Angus, who found Brinton Nute in front of the Warriors' goal.  Nute headed the ball off the back post for the only score of the game.
 
The victory lifted the Bees to 3-0 in The Sun Conference and to a 5-3 overall record.  SCAD takes on Webber International at home on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 3:00 pm.  Come out and support your Bees!
