HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – Pierre Ceraphin's goal with 3:44 remaining in overtime was the difference as St. Thomas (Fla.) University upset SCAD Savannah 2-1 in double overtime in a The Sun Conference men's soccer match Saturday (Sept. 18) evening at the SCAD Athletics Complex.

The Bobcats improved to 2-3-0 overall and to 1-1-0 in the league while the 13th-ranked Bees fell to 7-1-0 and 4-1-0. SCAD returns to action Wednesday (Sept. 22) with a 6 p.m. non-conference home match against Southern Wesleyan University.

Ceraphin scored the match winner off a pass from Jonathan Rico and knocked into the left corner of the goal at the 106:16 mark. SCAD had tied the match at 1 on Ryan Middleton's first goal of the season with 12:12 remaining in regulation after an assist from Ellert Hreinsson. St. Thomas took a 1-0 lead off Rico's unassisted goal in the first half.
