SAVANNAH, Ga. –
The Savannah College of Art and Design women's golf defeated the University of Dayton 317-326 in a dual match Thursday (March 4).

Katina Ruest earned medalist honors for the fourth-ranked Bees as she carded a 76 on the par 72, 5,914-yard layout on The Club at Savannah Harbor, besting teammate Andrea Perez by two strokes. Julie Pouliquen was the Flyers top finisher as she placed third at 79. Amelie Mogard finished fourth for the Bees with an 80 while Nikki Stewart, the current The Sun Conference Golfer of the Month, tied for seventh place with an 83. Mary-Michael Burns finished tied for 12th with an 87 for the Bees while teammates Lovisa Emanuelsson and Jenna Schupska shot 89 (15th) and 92 (16th), respectively.

The Bees return to action March 13 as they travel to Daytona Beach, Fla., to compete at the Eagle Invitational.
