HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The SCAD Savannah men's soccer team recorded their sixth shutout of the season as they blanked a 1-0 The Sun Conference victory over Florida Memorial University Sunday (Oct. 3) afternoon at the SCAD Athletics Complex.

The 21st-ranked Bees improved to 9-2-0 overall and to 5-1-0 in the conference while the Lions fell to 4-7-0 and to 2-2-0. SCAD returns to action Friday (Oct. 8) with a 3 p.m. Central time match against Auburn University Montgomery in Montgomery, Ala.

The Bees got the decisive goal from Jean Morana at the 42:21 mark off an assist from Pato Torello. It was Moreno's seventh score of the season.

SCAD goalkeeper Ross Faulds recorded three saves as he notched his fifth shutout of 2010.
