MIAMI - The Savannah College of Art and Design men's soccer team got a penalty kick in the 55th minute as the Bees edged St. Thomas (Fla.) University 1-0 in a The Sun Conference match Tuesday (Sept. 8) afternoon at Bobcat Field.
The Bees recorded their third shutout of the season to improved to 3-0-1 overall and to 3-0-1 inside the conference while the Bobcats slipped to 1-2-1 and 0-1-0. SCAD returns to action Friday (Sept. 11) at 3:30 p.m. in Tampa, Fla., when the Bees face the University of Tampa, which is ranked No. 1 in the latest NSCAA NCAA Division II Top 25 ranking.
