NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.- SCAD's Molly Geiger has been named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Defender of the Week for the week ending April 5.

Geiger played a pivotal role in SCAD's commanding 25-2 win against No. RV Warner University. Dominating the field, she led all players with six ground balls and four caused turnovers—a mark that equaled the output of the entire Warner team. As a key fixture of the Bees' defensive line, Geiger helped limit the Royals to a mere four shots and two goals throughout the contest.This win was the largest win margin of the seasond for the Bees.

SCAD is back to action on Saturday, April 11 to host New College of Florida at 11 a.m.
