Elkhart, Ind.- SCAD Swimming & Diving brings home national championship in men's 800 free relay to open NAIA Nationals. Women bring home silver in 200 medley relay and 800 free relay.
The men's 800 free relay team,
Zsombor Paksi,
Jan Gastal,
Levente Mozsarik, Zoli Tompos and
Finlay Saunders were crowned national champions with a 6:29.22 finish.
The women's 200 medley relay team,
Jette Haedicke,
Nikki Hahn,
Valle Gonzalez Ares and
Louise Jones, earned silver with a 1:41.13 finish.
The women's 800 free relay team, Valle Gonzales Ares,
Lena Gerl,
Jette Haedicke, and
Louise Jones, brought home a second-place finish with a 1:29.27 finish.
The men's 200 relay team finished in seventh to wrap up the first day of the NAIA National Championship.
Swimming & Diving will continue to compete in the NAIA National Championship on Thursday, March 5. The men will compete in the 500 free, the 200 IM, 50 free, and 200 free relay. The women will compete in the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 3M diving, and 200 free relay.
